How far in advance do I need to book services?

WALKS/VISITS: For standard rates, it is preferred services be booked at least 24 hours in advance of the requested day of service (for example, by Sunday at midnight for a Tuesday walk). Currently clients requesting 2 weeks prior to services are being approved, this is subject to availability. The earlier you can book the more likely you'll be approved. We do accommodate last minute requests when we are able to. 
STAYS: For standard rates, all STAY (overnight) reservations should be booked as soon as possible (for example: as soon as flight arrangements have been made) availability is limited and we do book full. 

Do I get to have a consultation?

New Client Meetings are complimentary with a reservation for pet sitting services, otherwise, there will be a $20 consultation fee (the $20 consultation fee payment will be applied toward services if a reservation is eventually made). Your consultation will take place with a PETEY'S Playhouse Pet Services Manager, which ensures we collect and document all care instructions properly. **We fully understand if you'd also like to meet your assigned Pet Care Professional who's scheduled for your upcoming service: in these cases, in order to fairly compensate the team member for their time, we'd schedule and charge a regular VISIT for a time you'll be home.
This client consult takes place at your home, we review your pet and home care plan in detail with you. We will review your preferred entry method and collect and test two keys
Please review the following to ensure you are prepared to meet your Pet Care Professional.

Time to Pet Profile – Each new client must complete a secure online profile prior to scheduling a New Client Meeting.  Our Manager will review your profile with you in detail during your meeting.

Home Entry – We require all clients have two keys ready for the New Client Meeting. We test each key and review your preferred home entry method and alarm system with you in detail.  We also require that each client provide a secondary entry method via hidden key or garage code.  Please review our key policies for additional information.

We will spend time answering all of your questions and spending some time getting to know your pets.  New client meetings are always scheduled for thirty minutes to allow plenty of time, however they typically take around 15-20 minutes.

Communication - All communication between client and PETEY'S Team Members is sent and received through a secure client portal. PETEY'S has no less than 3 managers at all times reviewing your portal and reviewing messages. This ensures every request, service change and question is answered by your primary care provider in a timely manner. 

how do i make payment?

Payment is due in full at the time of reserving service at the time of your client consult. We operate like a hotel service, your payment secures your reservation and service. Prior to payment requested service date are not held and are not confirmed.

PETEY'S Playhouse Pet Services, LLC accepts credit card payment only via our secure online system.  We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, & Discover.

We DO NOT accept cash or check payments.

As an PPPS Client we require:

Auto Pay:  Your credit card info is saved in an encrypted format in our secure online system. For clients with regular WALK or VISIT services extending more than 15 days your account your card listed as DEFAULT will charged automatically on the 1st and 15th prior to services beginning. This will include any balances from the previous week.  *With this method your services will be given priority & will be immediately booked upon request. It is the responsibility of each client to ensure you keep your default credit card updated in the system.

If you need to make alternative payment arrangements, please discuss your needs with PPPS management prior to making your request for services.

Is there an additional charge on holidays?

In order to fairly compensate our staff for taking time away from their families on the holidays, additional rates apply on all major holidays. Do to the very high demand for our services do no delay requesting your reservation, despite the broad reach our pet care team has, these dates will book full.
Major holidays include: New Years Eve, New Years, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve. Christmas. *Holidays that incur our additional $10 charge per VISIT are at the sole discretion of PETEY'S Playhouse Pet Services, LLC.   

Additional $10 added to each VISIT on holidays.

Additional $25 added to each STAY on holidays

PETEY'S playhouse Pet services Key Policy

Security is our TOP PRIORITY.  Your keys are kept securely with your Pet Care Provider and PETEY'S Management.  Your keys are labeled with your pets name only.    Each key is logged into our system and logged out anytime they are exchanged between your pet care provider and our office.  PETEY'S will always know the exact location of your keys. We also carry insurance that includes the cost of relock in the unlikely event of a lost or stolen key.

Your keys will be tested and collected prior to the start of services during your New Client Meeting (Meet and Greet), Pet Care Provider Meeting or a Scheduled Key Pick Up Only.

Your keys, once collected, will be labeled discreetly and kept securely at our office for future services.  We WILL NOT leave your keys at your home or lock them inside after your last visit/service.

If your keys are not available during your New Client Meeting, You MUST schedule a key pickup prior to your requested service. *Additional visits for a Key Pickup or Sitter Meeting are $20*

**Alternate Key Procedure – At Clients Risk *We do not recommend this procedure*

If you do not wish to provide two keys, we can alternately use coded entry or a garage code and keep one master key on file in our office.  This is allowed strictly at the risk and responsibility of the client.  It is your responsibility to ensure your online profile is up to date with detailed code and entry information. If you choose to use this method and we cannot gain entry for ANY reason you will be notified.  We cannot provide additional free visits to try to gain entry. All additional visits needed to gain entry will be charged at the short notice rate. We strongly recommend that you have a primary and secondary entry method.


PETEY'S Playhouse Pet Services, LLC requires that all clients provide two keys to be kept on file with your Pet Care Provider and or management for as long as you remain a client.

*If you would like your keys returned after your service you may schedule a Key Return for $20, or opt to have them returned via the USPS for $18* A drop off location for keys is not available. 

*We can also destroy and discard your keys free of charge*
